I have what you may call a very chaotic sleep schedule. It has changed significantly with age, and I LOVE getting into bed and starting to read around 18:30. The issue with this is people, in general, like to be social in the evenings, and I’m just not into that.
The second issue is I’m starting school again in January, and I will need to attend class online in the evenings I will have lots of assignments to do while I work ~50 hours a week at work. All that said, I plan to subtly take the remainder of the year, changing my sleep schedule to figure out what works best for my body. To ensure I am getting the right amount of mental stimulation to ensure progress, I will wake up extra early to earn PDUs which will likely be similar to sitting through a lecture.
Wish me luck? Also, if you have any tips for severely sleepy introverts starting Grad School in their 40’s, please share!
