Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton has an absurd amount of trigger warnings, so consider yourselves warned. I LOVED this dark romance. This one hit home because I have always wanted someone dedicated to me like no one has before. I realized recently there isn’t one who holds my picture close or even thinks of me often. Which is very strange, that said. I am on a dark romance kick and have read so many in the last couple of weeks.

Legendborn by Tracy Deonn was an interesting read. I have trouble relating to people who are so young, and I wish the characters were aged up by at least four years. All that said, this is a fun read. I am unsure if the second book in the series will leave my TBR list, but I definitely recommend it if you don’t mind reading this specific age group.

The first question I have for Freida McFadden, author of The Housemaid, is, who hurt you? And the second question I have is, who saved you?

I enjoyed how this story was written and how McFadden builds the support for the house maid throughout.

Rockstars, Mafia bosses, Murder, Assassins, and Cult Leaders. The Boys of Bellerose series by Jaymin Eve and Tate James has all of these elements. This is a dark why choose romance that was a lovely read. There are four books in the series, all available on Kindle Unlimited. I will read anything that Jaymin and Tate write together!
