Wow, I am one week into my new role in Human Resources, and I have loved it so far. The work is slightly different than expected, but it is a welcome surprise. The surprise is that I am expected to take time to learn daily to ensure I can be the best consultant to my clients possible. For me, this is HEAVEN. I love learning,

Welcome to Spring

Spring has FINALLY sprung in Minneapolis. I went on my first long hike last weekend, and the trails were back open and free of snow. However, you will notice that the Mississippi River is quite high if you are from the city. My favorite part of these little jaunts is the freshness of the air, the beauty of the shadows, and the birds, squirrels, and geese that call Minneapolis their home. If you can, I recommend walking East and West River Parkway. I am choosing not to acknowledge that it may snow this week.

I saw something hilarious the other day. This squirrel found a paper plate and returned it to his squirrel family.
