Come with me on my journey to get eyebrows.
If you’ve met me in real life and you’ve known me for a while, I assume that you have silently judged my lack of eyebrows. It’s okay, I mean… They were pretty terrible.

I wish I could say that this was the result of over-plucking. No, I was not that girl in the ’90s who wanted pencil-thin eyebrows; I just wanted hair up there. I have decided that in 2023 I will be fixing the things that I need to medically and the things that I obsess over mentally.
The first thing on my list are the furry creatures that live, that are supposed to live, on my brow line.
I found Sovereign Skin on Instagram and checked out the reviews. Amy has a chair at Sacred Siren Tattoo in NE Minneapolis. It has been 11 days since I had my first session and I am loving the results. I will post my pictures so far, let me know if you have any questions!

Customer service was amazing! We had to reschedule because of a blizzard, and Amy worked with my schedule to figure something out.
The actual results. Because I have only completed 1 session, I can only speak to my results. My brows are not 100% even. However, neither is my face. With that said, I am still delighted, and I can’t wait to see what they look like after my second session.
Value. This is an expensive service; I saved for a little while before getting it done because of the price tag. I will say that Amy is upfront about pricing and communicates the potential need for touch-ups and risks. I think the price tag is worth it for the time savings. You saw my flecks of hair before I got this done.
