Today my friend Sarah and I went on a field trip to the Como Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul Mn. We were both speaking the other day about how much fun it was to go on field trips as a child. So we decided to take the back half of Monday off to go to the zoo. After a busy Monday morning that had me ready to yell at someone for annoying me, I am so glad we made that decision.

Here are a few takeaways. Polar bears are absurdly huge, the sound of a lion roaring is action more terrifying than I have ever thought it could be, sea lions are a bit showy, wolves are beautiful and terrifying, and I was made to be surrounded by beautiful flowers.
