So, last night after chatting online for 2 years via Insta, I met one of my pandemic Instagram friends. He is super cool, a fan of whiskey, poetry, and books. We had a great conversation and I was like, yes a new friend! It is almost impossible to meet new friends in Minnesota, so I am always looking for greater connections. The reason I think it may have been an accidental date is that he paid for our drinks and apps, I insisted on paying for my oysters and 2 old-fashioned drinks because they were expensive. I did make it clear to say I am glad that I could meet new friends after I said that I just felt a weird vibe. I am not sure if I can exactly describe why it felt so weird, but at the end when the restaurant was closing, I called my Lyft and it came super fast. Like it was there in 2 minutes. Generally, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get a lyft and I knew the night was coming to an end. So it sort of seems like I ran out. He asked me to text him when I get home, but I didn’t feel super comfortable sharing my phone number yet so I just messaged via insta. After writing all of this, I am definitely overthinking this, but I guess I have a question. I have always been a person who believes people can be friends even if they are attracted to each other. Am I naieve to think this? I mean probably

All that said, check out Mr. Pauls Supper Club in Edina, MN. Great vibe, they make a fantastic Old Fashioned.
