I had a pretty low-key day today. I spent my morning at The Ruby Slipper, I spent the afternoon sipping spirits at the Sazerac House learning about their Rye Whiskey and bitters. I went back to my hotel to take a nap, it rained here today, so it felt like the perfect time to engage in some uninterrupted sleep. I had a weird issue at my hotel, they were updating all of the locks on the doors here, which was pretty weird because they didn’t tell anyone it was happening. I will write more about my hotel experience after I check out. It was interesting. I took a nap for a couple of hours and then I went to Willie’s Chicken Shack for dinner and ate it while packing my suitcase. My flight doesn’t leave until the afternoon, so I will have time to do a final goodbye to the quarter, per my tradition.
