New Orleans food babies are a special breed…

Breakfast this morning at The Ruby Slipper was exceptional. What you see here is a drink called “Hello Sunrise” which is Gin, Grapefruit Juice, and Rose Mary Simple Syrup. The food was perfect. Perfect in every way. I had the “Grilled Fish St Peter” which is the Grilled fish of the day over a cheesy grit cake sauteed spinach and tomatoes, a skewer of shrimp, finished with a creole mustard hollandaise.

I’m headed to the Aquarium today, so excited to be surrounded by sea life. My Cancer spirit will be fulfilled.
